The court has placed the founder of PTI on physical remand in the Toshakhana case.
An accountability court has granted a two-day physical remand for Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in the Toshakhana case, as reported by News 24/7.

Accountability Judge Mohammad Bashir, presiding over the hearing at Adiala Jail, issued directives approving a two-day physical remand for Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in the Toshakhana case, as reported by News 24/7. During the proceedings, officials from the accountability watchdog sought a seven-day physical remand for the former prime minister, a request that was ultimately denied by the AC judge. The court rejected the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) plea and granted a two-day physical remand for Imran Khan.
A day prior to this development, an accountability court in Islamabad had dismissed Imran Khan's pre-arrest bail plea in the Toshakhana case. The judgment was announced by Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir. The legal proceedings continued as the Islamabad High Court (IHC) reserved its verdict on Imran Khan's plea seeking the suspension of his conviction in the Toshakhana case. The plea was heard by IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Jahangiri.
The Toshakhana case stems from allegations that Imran Khan failed to disclose details of gifts retained from the Toshaskhana during his tenure as prime minister. Lawmakers from the ruling coalition filed the reference last year. The issue gained significant political prominence after the Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified Imran Khan for making false statements and incorrect declarations. The ECP's detailed judgment emphasized Imran Khan's involvement in corrupt practices, leading to his disqualification under Article 63(1)(p) of the constitution.
Following the ECP's decision, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) initiated a probe against Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case on March 9. These legal developments underscore the ongoing challenges and controversies surrounding the PTI founder, adding layers to the complex political landscape of Pakistan.
