The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday granted post-arrest bail to former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and PTI's Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cipher case.
Each is required to submit surety bonds of Rs1 million.
The three-member bench, led by interim Chief Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, heard the case and observed that the indictment challenged by Khan and Qureshi was already nullified by the Islamabad High Court on November 21.
The court also adjourned the hearing on the plea against indictment and focused on the bail petitions.
