The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) is experiencing a sustained increase in value relative to the US dollar.
As reported by News 24/7, the Pakistani rupee gained 50 paisas against the US dollar in interbank trading on Friday.
As per information from forex dealers, the US dollar experienced a depreciation of 50 paisas in the interbank market, reaching a trading value of Rs281.43 at 10:10 am. Banks are selling the greenback to importers at Rs281.83, while it is available at Rs283.50 in the open market.
In the previous interbank trading session on Thursday, the Pakistani rupee saw a gain of 26 paisa against the US dollar, concluding at Rs281.93 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs282.19.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported a rise of Rs1.87 in the Euro's price, closing at Rs313.47 in contrast to the last day’s Rs311.60. Additionally, the Japanese Yen increased by 03 paisa, settling at Rs2, while the British Pound exhibited a growth of Rs2.14, reaching a trading rate of Rs361.40 as opposed to the previous closing at Rs359.26.
