As part of the government's sustained campaign against narcotics, a series of operations conducted between November 5th and 12th has led to the nationwide seizure of a substantial 3143 kilograms of illicit substances, accompanied by the arrest of over 34 individuals.
In the ongoing government drive against narcotics spanning from November 5th to 12th, a series of operations has yielded the nationwide confiscation of a substantial 3143 kilograms of illegal substances, accompanied by the apprehension of over 34 individuals.
The anti-narcotics efforts extended across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Sindh, resulting in the seizure of 2644 kilograms of narcotics. Simultaneously, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa contributed 234 kilograms, Gilgit 117 kilograms, and Balochistan reported a significant haul of 1740 kilograms of contraband.
Of particular note is Balochistan's contribution, accounting for 28 kilograms of methamphetamine and 25 kilograms of heroin seized during the crackdown.
During the specified period, a comprehensive total of 2091 kilograms of cannabis and 240 kilograms of opium were intercepted and confiscated nationwide.
Since the inception of the crackdown on September 1st, the cumulative tally stands at 33,924 kilograms of seized narcotics, leading to the arrest of more than 435 individuals involved in drug trafficking.
