Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, engaged in a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir during his official visit to the Gulf country, as reported by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Tuesday. Caretaker Law Minister Ahmed Irfan Aslam, Pakistan Ambassador to Kuwait Malik Mohammad Farooq, and other delegation members were also present at the meeting.
Simultaneously, Prime Minister Kakar, having concluded his visit to the UAE, has arrived in Kuwait City. The PM is anticipated to meet with Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah today, with further discussions planned with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The PM's office disclosed that several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) would be signed to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including manpower, information technology, minerals and mining, food security, energy, and defense.
During his UAE visit, Pakistan inked numerous multi-billion dollar MoUs across various domains on Monday, aimed at strengthening economic and strategic collaboration between the two nations. PM Kakar emphasized that these agreements mark the beginning of a new era in bilateral economic and strategic relations. Commending the ongoing friendship established by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the 1970s, PM Kakar acknowledged the continued commitment of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to advancing this legacy into a new era. The Prime Minister expressed optimism that the signed MoUs would swiftly transform into tangible projects.
