Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi have been granted bail in multiple cases.

In the federal capital, an anti-terrorism court has granted bail to Imran Khan, the former leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in three cases, and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Vice President of PTI, in two cases.

Justice Abul Gasnat Zulqarnain of the anti-terrorism court has approved the bail applications for both the PTI founder and Qureshi. During the court proceedings, Prosecutor Raja Naveed, along with PTI lawyers Sardar Masroor and Khalid Yousaf, were present.

The prosecutor opposed the bail petitions, alleging that PTI leaders deliberately organized protests and incited the public against the state. Expressing concern about what he perceived as undue leniency towards PTI leaders, he requested the court to dismiss their bail petitions.

In response to a question from the judge about the presence of Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Imran Khan at the scene, the prosecutor clarified that neither Qureshi nor the PTI founder were present.

Subsequently, the judge granted bail to the PTI founder, Qureshi, and other co-suspects in the case. The court instructed the suspects to submit surety bonds worth Rs30,000 to confirm their bail.

It's worth noting that the former prime minister is currently held in Adiala jail on judicial remand in cipher and other cases.
