Large gatherings at PTI workers' conventions indicate widespread public affection for Khan.
On Friday, PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan emphasized that despite ongoing repression and operations, the Pakistani people are steadfastly supporting PTI and its leader, Imran Khan. This solidarity was evident in the substantial turnout at the Charsadda workers' conventions, which transformed into sizable public gatherings.

Three days ago, a PTI workers' convention convened at Shakoor Khan's hujra in Charsadda, evolving into a substantial public gathering, according to PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan. Likewise, he noted that on Thursday, a PTI workers' convention took place at Fazal Khan's residence, drawing a massive crowd that demonstrated their support for PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Omar Ayub highlighted that the significant public turnout at these PTI workers' conventions clearly signifies unwavering support from the people, even in the face of challenges. He expressed confidence that the populace would bring Imran Khan to power with a convincing majority in the upcoming general elections.
In another context, PTI Secretary General strongly denounced ongoing KP police raids on the residences of PTI leaders. He specifically criticized the police's actions at the residence of Kamran Bangash, a former KP Minister, despite his court-granted bail. Ayub pointed out instances of the police tampering with CCTV systems during these raids to avoid recording the illegal activities.
Omar Ayub asserted that Muhammad Abid Majeed, Home Secretary, and Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur, IG KP, bear direct responsibility for these unlawful raids and enforced disappearances. He accused them of overseeing human rights violations carried out with impunity.
Similarly, Ayub reported the abduction of PTI leader Akbar Tanoli from Islamabad approximately two weeks ago, categorizing him as an "Enforced Disappeared Person" in an attempt to coerce him into leaving PTI. However, Ayub expressed concern over the lack of information about Tanoli's whereabouts, causing distress among family members and the broader PTI community.
Pointing fingers at authorities, Ayub asserted that Sarfraz Bughti, Minister of Interior, Secretary of Interior, IG Islamabad, DIG Operations Islamabad, SP Islamabad, and DC Islamabad are directly accountable for executing enforced disappearances and extrajudicial actions. He vowed that these individuals should face accountability for their illegal actions and human rights violations.
