Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir reiterated the Pakistan Army's unwavering commitment to fulfill its selfless and sacred duty of protecting every part of the homeland, emphasizing a steadfast dedication even to the last drop of blood. General Munir conveyed this message during his visit to Peshawar, where he received a comprehensive briefing on various aspects, including the overall security situation, ongoing counter-terrorism operations, repatriation of illegal foreigners, and socio-economic developments in the newly merged districts.
During his interaction with officers and soldiers who displayed valor in counter-terrorism operations, General Munir commended their heroic feats, acknowledging the nation's pride in the accomplishments of the armed forces. Emphasizing Pakistan's destined success, he underscored the enduring commitment of the Pakistan Army to safeguard the nation's integrity.
In addition, General Munir engaged with participants at the First National Workshop Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, expressing appreciation for the resolute support of the people of the province. He credited this support for the stability achieved in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the realization of progress in socio-economic development projects.
