The specialized surgeries facility at al-Shifa Hospital was targeted and destroyed by Israeli forces, resulting in severe damage to the interior of the building, which included a storage area for medicine and medical equipment.
The building was dismantled by the Israeli military, resulting in the destruction of partitions, walls, and all medical equipment.
Simultaneously, approximately 200 individuals at the hospital, some of whom were blindfolded, underwent interrogation by Israeli troops. Around 30 people were stripped of their clothes and taken to the courtyard. The well-being and whereabouts of these individuals remain uncertain. The absence of concrete evidence supporting Israeli claims of Hamas' presence in the hospital has prompted extensive destruction, renewed attacks on the facility, and the redeployment of troops at the hospital gates.
