India defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs in the final group match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Chasing a daunting target of 411, the Netherlands were bundled out for 250 in 47.5 overs. Teja Nidamanuru top-scored with 54, while Sybrand Engelbrecht (45), Colin Ackermann (35), and Max O'Dowd (30) also made significant contributions.

Mohammed Siraj, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav each took two wickets for India, while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma chipped in with one each.

Earlier, India had posted a mammoth total of 410 for 4, thanks to centuries from Shreyas Iyer (128) and KL Rahul (102). The duo put on a 208-run partnership for the fourth wicket, which helped India set an imposing target for the Netherlands.

Rohit Sharma (61) and Shubman Gill (51) had also provided a solid start for India, putting on a 100-run opening partnership. Virat Kohli also chipped in with a valuable 51.

Bas de Leede was the pick of the bowlers for the Netherlands, taking two wickets. Roelof van der Merwe and Paul van Meekeren also picked up a wicket each.

With this victory, India finished the group stage unbeaten with nine wins in nine matches. The Netherlands, on the other hand, finished the tournament with two wins in seven matches.
